Amanda's Project (Fundraising Garage Sale in Peoria, IL - Oct 1st & 2nd)

RE/MAX Unlimited is helping to get the word out about Amanda's Project! Amanda (name changed for privacy) is a cheerful and talkative 8 year-old client of the Children's Home in Peoria. She has loving foster parents who help care for her as she is wheelchair bound and has a host of medical needs. However, Amanda's wheelchair is too big to fit through the bathroom and other doorways in their home. This Friday and Saturday, October 1st & 2nd, RE/MAX Unlimited and other sponsors are hosting a garage sale fundraiser in north Peoria to help raise the money needed to remodel Amanda's home so she can have the appropriate privacy and independence as she continues to grow. Besides garage sale items, there will be a bake sale, local vendors, a crafter's fair, and kid's carnival games. Be sure to stop by and check it out!
